The female inmate who died at hospital after undergoing medical distress while in the Sullivan County Jail has been identified.
She was 46-year-old Jamie A. Wilson of Shelburn. She was arrested Saturday morning for Operating While Intoxicated Refusal by Sullivan City Police. Around 8-pm that night she was seen and heard having a medical issue and was taken to the hospital in Sullivan where she died an hour later.
An autopsy was conducted yesterday and results are pending. Officials say the final report could take 4 to 8 weeks.
