Norman Wagler, 70, of Montgomery, passed away at 3:30 P.M Sunday January 20, 2019 at the Deaconess Midtown Hospital, Evansville.
He was born April 18, 1948, in Daviess County, Indiana, to William H. and Agnes Marie (Stoll) Wagler.
Norman married Lillie Knepp on September 20, 1975, and she survives.
He was a member of Zion Amish Mennonite Church.
Norman is preceded in death by his two sons; Darrell Wayne and Nelson Lee, his parents; William H. and Agnes Marie (Stoll) Wagler, his brother, Ira Wagler, his sister, Anna Louis (Samuel) Lengacher, father – in – law Joseph Knepp, mother – in – law Viola Knepp, brother- in – laws; Samuel Knepp, Lewis Knepp, Joe Knepp Jr., Ernest Graber, two nephews and three nieces.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie, and two sisters; Laura Mae (Marvin) Wagler, Barbara Jean (David) Wagler, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M on Thursday January 24, 2019 at Zion Amish Mennonite Church with David Stoll officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M on Tuesday January 22, 2019 at Zion Amish Mennonite Church and continue again on Wednesday January 23, 2019 until the service on Thursday.
