Ken Showalter has officially announced his run for City Council At Large. The Washington Times Herald reports he says that his public service as a volunteer firefighter and his work experience in quality control provides him the skills and insight he believes would be beneficial to the council. Showalter also is involved in the Washington High School Band Boosters. He and Councilman David Dahl are on the Republican Ticket for Council At Large in the May Primary. Ron Critchlow and Ernie Evans are on the Democrat Ticket.
