The Washington City Council meets in regular session tonight. Prior to the start of the 6:30 meeting, Mayor Joe Wellman will swear in James MacDonald as the city’s newest Police Officer.
The Council is schedule to reorganize for 2019 this evening as they will elect a Council President and the Mayor will appoint members to the Board of Public Works and Safety.
The council is also slated to discuss and possibly take action on an agreement with the state to transfer a portion of Old US 50 in Washington to the city.
