Accident in west Washington, Fire on McCormick

-The Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department’s Engines 9 and 91 and Rescue 9 crews responded to a two car crash in west Washington at Old 50 and 150-west at about 12:20-pm yesterday.  Several were taken to the hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries.  Police logs state the person who called authorities said they’d been hit in the driver’s side door.  One vehicle was in a ditch another in the intersection.  The accident remains under investigation.

-Washington City Police and Fire units were sent to 1814 McCormick at 8:17-pm last night. A caller reported hearing an explosion and a shed was on fire.  After arriving on scene, pages were sent out for more manpower.  City electric crews were also on scene.

-35-year-old Junior Desir of Washington was arrested after a Washington Police investigation.  He’s charged with Domestic Battery, Strangulation and Public Intoxication.

-Washington officers arrested 25-year-old Jenna Allbritten of Montgomery on warrants for Conspiracy to Commit Dealing Meth and Dealing Meth. Bond was set at $100,000.

-Robert McCutcheon, 49 of Bedford was arrested on a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence for Operating A Motor Boat an alcohol content of .08 or more.  Bond was posted.

-Daviess County officers served an arrest warrant for Domestic Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury to a Person under 14.  26-year-old Kelsey Fleck of Washington posted bond.
