Thomas R. Wagner, 76, of Loogootee passed away on January 4, 2019 at 10:45 P.M at Loogootee Nursing Center.
He was born on January 18 ,1942 in Loogootee, Indiana to the late Reason and Rosemary (Wagoner) Wagner.
Thomas was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was a United States Army Veteran. He married Linda (Porter) Wagner on June 15, 1963. Thomas was a member of the V.F.W Post 9395, and American Legion Post 120. He retired from Jefferson Trucking in Shoals, Indiana and he enjoyed anything outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his son, Mark A. Wagner who passed away in 1985, his parents; Reason and Rosemary Wagner, his Parent – in – laws; Phillip and Rita A. (Matthews) Porter, and his siblings; Norma Wagner- Hickman, Sarah Chambers, and Mike Wagner.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Wagner of Loogootee, his children; Deborah K. Zins of Loogootee, Ryan T. Wagner of Ventura, California, his grandchildren; Brad Zins of Vincennes, Becca (Rahiem) Penn of Hampton, Virginia, Alecia Wagner of Loogootee, his great- grandchild- Reagan Penn, his siblings; Ed Wagner, Judy (Donnie) Fuesler, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10:00 am at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Jacob Porter, a great- nephew who is fighting a battle with leukemia.
