Daviess Community Hospital reports that the first baby born at DCH in 2019 was Brayden Mathew Underhill. He made his way into the world Wednesday the 2nd at 5lbs and 13oz. He’s the son of Brittany Underhill and Michael Kirby.
Being the first born at DCH in the New Year came with some perks. Nurses presented a wagon to the family filled with diapers, toys and other necessities.
Hospital OB Manager says they plan to grow each year to eventually exceed the record of 521 births in a year’s time. The record for births in one month was broken in 2018. Back in August 66 babies were born in that 31 day period at the hospital.
Meanwhile at Good Sam in Vincennes, the New Year Baby there was Zooey Hallman. She was born on Wednesday the 2nd at 6 lobs and 12 oz. She’s the daughter of 32 year old Jessica Hallman and 34 year old Kam Greentree of Vincennes.
