The Municipal Primary Election ballot in Washington keeps getting fuller.
Daviess County Democrat Party Chair Ron Critchlow has announced he is running for City Council At-Large. He joins fellow Democrat Ernie Evans who is also running for one of the two At-Large seats currently held by Democrat Blake Chambers and Republican David Dahl.
Critchlow commented he decided to run in part due to the recent hike in utility rates. He says he’s not against an increase and knows there is reasoning behind it but feels it’s too drastic and wasn’t well thought out.
Critchlow also says he’s backing Democrat Dave Rhoads, the Washington Fire Chief, who recently announced his run for Mayor.
