Around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, Washington firefighters responded to a fire at 1501 North Street. When they arrived they found the porch was fully engulfed. Neighbors had alerted the resident to the fire and called the fire department. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
