With Christmas on next Tuesday, all Daviess County and Washington City Offices and Departments will be closed both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. There will be no trash pick up on Monday and Tuesday next week, the City Bus will not run, and the Daviess County Landfill will be closed. Washington residents with Monday as their regular trash pick-up day should have their trash ready for pick up by 7 a.m. Friday, that’s tomorrow, morning. Washington residents with regular trash pick up on Tuesday, should have their trash ready for pick up by 7 a.m. on Wednesday.
