Mervin Dale Knepp, 40, of Montgomery, passed away at 3:43 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Daviess Community Hospital due to injuries sustained in a hunting accident.
He was born July 26, 1978 in Washington, Indiana to Elmer and Alvena (Graber) Knepp.
Mervin married Alta (Stoll) Knepp March 26, 2006 and she survives.
He was a member of Canaan Fellowship Church.
Mervin was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Wilmer Stoll.
He is survived by his wife, Alta (Stoll) Knepp of Montgomery; sons, Darvin Lee, Logan Drew, Kaden Dale, Justin Devon and Tristan Blake Knepp; parents, Elmer and Alvena (Graber) Knepp of Montgomery; brothers, Darin (Mary Sue) Knepp of Plainville, Delmar (Emma Jean) Knepp of Cannelburg, Ernest (Malinda) Knepp of Montgomery, Paul (Leanna) Knepp of Montgomery; sisters, Darla (Fred) Wittmer of Loogootee and Mary Lynn (John) Knepp of Montgomery; mother-in-law, Rosalie (Wagler) Stoll.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 at Canaan Fellowship Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Canaan Fellowship Church.
