Judith Ellen King, 83, of Washington, Indiana, passed away Dec. 12, 2018, in Washington.
She was born Jan. 31, 1935, to the late William and Naomi (Funcannon) Roby. Judith graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1943 and worked for American States Insurance Company in Indianapolis for several years. She was a member of Parkview Christian Church in Plainville, Indiana, the Order of the Eastern Star, and enjoyed cooking for her family, especially during the holidays.
Her survivors are a son, Howard (Jennifer) Douglas King; a daughter-in-law, Marsha King; four grandchildren, Laura, Robert, John and Alexandra King; one great-granddaughter, and another grandbaby on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Leon “CORK” King; and a son, Robert King.
Funeral services for Judith will be 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, in Gill Funeral Home. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Plainville Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.gillsince 1872.com.
