Edna Fern Edwards 71, of Washington IN went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, November 25, 2018.
Edna was born January 8, 1947 in Daviess County to the late Wayne Shelton and Agnes Corn (Russell).
Edna enjoyed fellowship with her family and cooking meals for her children and grandchildren. Edna worked as a nurse’s aide at several local Daviess County nursing facilities and the love she had for her family carried over to her patients; throughout her working years she was very devoted to her job and the patients in which she cared for, treating them all as family.
Edna leaves behind her five children, Scott Edwards, Christine Sherretz, Kevin Edwards, Russell Edwards, and Lisa Snyder; a brother, David Shelton; fourteen grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren; and many friends.
Edna was also preceded in death by her sister, Linda Copeland.
There will be a visitation held at Gill Funeral Home. 308 E. Walnut St. Washington IN 47501 on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M and also from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday also at the funeral home.
