Knox County Sheriff Mike Morris reports three people are charged in connection with an animal cruelty case.
Earlier this month, several dogs were found near the Cannonball Bridge. They had been dumped and were in poor health. They were all taken to the Vincennes Animal Shelter.
The three that are facing charges according to Morris are Gary Charest, Christopher Smith and Brent Scolley are all charged with six counts each of animal cruelty. Charest facing additional counts of harboring un-immunized dogs
