We at the Daviess County Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau are happy to announce a new Hampton Inn will be built in Washington, Indiana. The new facility should begin construction in 2019 with an expected opening date in 2020. The hotel is expected to include 72 rooms and be a top choice for travelers to Daviess County.

Hampton Inn is an upper-midscale brand and has announced today the new facility will be the newest design type for the Americas. It will utilize Hampton Inns newest prototype, be one of the first in the country to do so, and also include an indoor pool. Featuring a contemporized exterior design, refreshed public space décor and updated guestroom case goods, the new design provides owners and developers with a flexible building model that embraces emerging guest preferences, improved functionality, and design efficiency.

The new design builds on Hampton’s existing model, positioning the brand for continued success and category leadership. In addition, the new design will help continue to drive Hampton’s strategic growth plans as the brand looks to increase its portfolio of 2,345 open hotels and pipeline of more than 610 properties globally.

Hampton by Hilton was designed with both today’s business and leisure traveler in mind. Located on Cumberland Dr, East of A &R, the hotel is easily accessible with enhanced features such as an indoor pull and a state-of-the-art fitness facility and business center. The property and its amenities are complemented by its convenient location near State Road 57 and Highway 50 Bypass and will cater to families and travelers participating in sports tournaments and special events. The introduction of this award-winning brand also meets the needs of corporate travelers who are looking for a convenient stay with complimentary amenities close to the area’s numerous businesses.
