Air Evac called after accident

ACCIDENTS

-Last night Washington Township Fire responded to a call of a vehicle accident with entrapment.  It happened at US 50 and 57.  Police logs say a vehicle hit a pole. It was first reported at 9:19 pm.  First arriving crews found heavy entrapment and requested mutual aid from Washington City Fire for additional manpower & equipment in order to conduct a rapid extraction of the patient.   The unnamed person was extracted and taken to Daviess Community Hospital and flown by Air Evac to St. Vincent’s.   Washington Township Engine 9, Attack 91, Rescue 9, Washington Fire Rescue 8, Daviess Co Sheriff, Southwest Medical and Washington PD responded.

 -An accident without injuries was reported at 5:36 last evening on US 50 at the Daviess/Martin County line.

-An accident without injuries was reported at 6:42pm near Montgomery.  That happened on 200-South.

 -There was a car-deer crash last night on 257 near 400-North.

POLICE REPORT

-The Washington City Police Department received numerous reports of vehicle break-ins, attempted break-ins and thefts from vehicles that were parked the high school.

ARRESTS

-Washington Police arrested 26-year-old Sarah L. Jones on an Out county Warrant.  No bond was set.

-19-year-old John Rodriguez-Santos of Washington was jailed for Driving while Never Receiving a License.  Bond was set at $200.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department charged 62-year-old Brian T. Tetreault of Washington for two counts of Operating While Intoxicated including with Endangerment and with Greater than or Equal to .15%.
