Nathan Gabhart gets Purdue University award

Local business owner and Purdue Alumni, Nathan Gabhart RPh, has been awarded the 2018 Eaton Entrepreneur of the Year Award from Purdue University. Dean Eric Barker stated, “This award was established in 2004 through the generosity of Lyman D. Eaton II (BS ’74) and his wife, Joyce A. Eaton. The purpose of the award is to recognize excellence in entrepreneurship among alumni/ae of the College of Pharmacy. Your founding of TrueScripts exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit that this award is designed to recognize.”

One expectation of the Eaton Entrepreneur of the Year Award is to provide a presentation at the “Pharmacy Leadership and Innovation Forum”, during which the Award will be presented.

“It is truly as honor to receive this award on behalf of my entire team at TrueScripts! Although this award may have my name on it, it is the TrueScripts team who earned it. I could not be prouder of what we have accomplished and how we are able to give back to our communities”

Nathan is a 1998 graduate of the Purdue University College of Pharmacy and a past National Officer for the APhA-Academy of Students of Pharmacy, as well as past president of the Indiana Pharmacists Alliance and the Community Pharmacies of Indiana. Nathan is married to Beth and have three children, Kaitlyn who is a sophomore at Purdue, Ashley and Ethan.
