A packed house of volunteers attended the Retired Senior and Volunteer Program Luncheon yesterday. It was held at the Gastof in Montgomery. Volunteers enjoyed lunch and several received awards.
In the past year, 400 RSVP Volunteers gave back nearly 105 thousand hours in volunteer work to Daviess and Martin County. The Volunteers of the year were named and they were: Lois Schnarr from Daviess County who in 12 years has put in over 8,000 hours of service, while the Martin County volunteers of the year were husband and wife Mark and Teresa Bault who have been with the program for seven years.
