Robert L. “Bobby” Smith, 75, of Loogootee, passed away at 12:05 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center.
He was born March 28, 1943 in Washington, Indiana to the late Charles L. and Regina (Clements) Smith.
Bobby married Carolyn (Rayhill) Smith April 13, 1963 and she survives.
He retired from North American Products after 42 years of employment. Bobby’s favorite past time was fishing.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Charles L. and Regina (Clements) Smith and brother, Charles “Mick” Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn (Rayhill) Smith of Loogootee; son, Troy (Terri) Smith of Loogootee; grandson, Trey Smith; nieces, Amie Jo Kunellis and Alisha Smith.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2018 at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will follow in Goodwill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or the Martin County Humane Society.
