Wilma J. Brown, 88, of Loogootee, passed away Friday, October 26th, 2018 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville.
She was born September 12th, 1930, to the late Cletus and Laura Colvin in Washington, Indiana.
Wilma was a member of St. John Catholic church in Loogootee, Indiana. She enjoyed reading, being with her family, playing cards and attending yard sales.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert J “Curt” Brown, Loogootee; her son Curt (Linda) Brown, Washington; her brother Jack Colvin, Washington; and her sister Louise Osmon, Plainville.
She is survived by her children, Mike Brown, Rockville, MD; Barbara (Bill) Boyd, Loogootee; her grandchildren, Laura Ann Brown, Washington, IN; Emily (Arben) Brown, Rockville, MD, Angie (Steve) Risacher, Loogootee, IN; Mandy (Scott) Bartley, Bedford, IN and her great-grandchildren, Kristin Norris, Cole Bartley, Rylee Gibson, Reese Gibson, Cauis Klobucista, Trajan Klobucista.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
