Arrests and police logs from Wednesday

-Washington Police charged 45-year-old Luaann Pettis of Washington Wednesday with two counts of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated including with more than .15% and with Endangerment.  Bond was posted.

-Deputies served an arrest warrant on 28-year-old Danteno Taylor of Indianapolis Wednesday.  He was wanted for failure to Appear. Bond was set at $2000.

-An Evansville man was arrested in Daviess County on a warrant for Failure to Appear. 20-year-old Jeremiah Bradley posted bond yesterday.

 -A vehicle reported stolen from Knox County was discovered in a farmer’s field Wednesday morning.   A caller from Daviess County said he was harvesting soy beans when he came across the car on his property at West State Road 358 and Daviess County Road 375-West.  The car was towed from the scene and the investigation is continuing.

 -Police were informed of an incident of vehicle vandalism yesterday.  It was reported at 2:43-pm from an address at Northeast 7th and East Walnut.  A 2010 Jeep Patriot was said to have red paint all over it.

-There was a car/deer crash near 1875 State Road 257 last night.  It was reported at 8:08-pm.

-Vincennes Police continue to investigate the passing of counterfeit money.  Incidents were reported Tuesday and Wednesday when alleged fake bills were passed at two businesses and at the Vincennes Street Department.    In  one of the in the instances, employees recognized the fake $100 bill before anything was bought.
