Mark William Richardson, 32, of Washington, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 at his home.

He was born on January 15, 1986 in Washington.

Mark served as a Federal Police officer for Crane Naval Base. As a Marine, Mark proudly served during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Mark also served a tour on a MEU in the southern seas and was stationed in Okinawa Japan.  He was a member of the American Legion and NRA. An avid gun enthusiast, he enjoyed shooting clay pigeons, cooking, kayaking, cutting hair, running, golfing, basketball, playing softball at Crane, and loved teasing his two nieces. He was also a proud pet parent having one dog and four cats and was a huge Trump supporter.

Surviving are his parents, Barbara White Riker and Jeff Riker of Washington, and Mark Alan Richardson of Odon,; his fiancé, Leslia Lopez of Washington; his brothers ad sisters, Megan Hickey and her husband Matthew of Haiti, twin sister Bobbie Byrer and her husband Kevin of Washington; his grandparents, Dallas Riker of Washington and Joan Richardson of Odon; his nieces, Grace Hickey and Keagan Byrer; his uncles, Butch White, Fred White, and Steve Richardson; along with several cousins.

A Celebration of Mark’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday October 18th at Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home with Dr. Fred White officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Wednesday and from 11:00 am until the service on Thursday.Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home is honored to assist Mark’s family with the arrangements.
