The K-Mart Store in Jasper is among those being closed as part o the Sears bankruptcy proceedings.
In all, three K-Mart Stores and 2 Sears stores in Indiana are being closed.

Sears stores in Greenwood and Terre Haute as well as K-Mart stores in Indianapolis, Jasper, and Griffith will be closed.
Yesterday, a K-Mart manager told reporters in Jasper that they had not heard from the company about the closure. The stores will remain open through the holiday season.
