Cynthia L. Graves, 67, passed away on October 4, 2018 in Petersburg, IN. She was born on December 5, 1950 to Clarence “Bob” and Bobby Burns in Linton, IN. Cynthia worked for the State of Indiana as a case work supervisor. She was a member of the Main Street Presbyterian Church of Petersburg where she contributed as a youth group leader, bell choir director for 15 years, choir member for 30 years, and served on the board of directors.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Gary Graves of Petersburg; son, Patrick Graves of Petersburg; daughter, Kate Graves of Linton; step son, Dan Graves of Elkhart; grandchildren, Alice and Greta Graves of Elkhart and Rya Graves of Petersburg; brothers, John Burns of Petersburg, Michael Burns of Washington, and Mitchell Burns of Billings, Montana. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Services for Cynthia will take place at 10 AM EST on Monday, Oct. 8, at the Main St. Presbyterian Church of Petersburg with visitation from 4-8 PM Sunday, Oct. 7, at the church. Rev. Boyd Heldring will be officiating and burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Tristate MS Association. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
