Richard “Rick” D. Zeller III, 56, of Vincennes, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born February 2, 1962 in Evansville, Indiana to Richard D and Bette Marie (Boger) Zeller Jr.
Rick was advertising consultant for the Washington Times Herald and worked for Boomer Magazine. Rick was known well in the community as he never met a stranger and he loved sports. He was an avid golfer, and an Indiana University, Raiders, Colts, Pacers, and Atlanta Braves fan. Rick graduated from Lincoln High School in 1980 and had Associate Degrees from Vincennes University in Electronics, Business, and Marketing.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanette (Barrix) Zeller, whom he married on March 16, 1985; his children, Jordan and Jasmine Zeller of Vincennes; a sister, Kimberly Clodfelter and her husband Chris of Evansville; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Rick’s Life will be at 7:00 pm Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Wells officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 until the service. Per his wishes Rick will be cremated. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for education for the children. Goodwin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Rick Zeller.
