Vonda L. Wininger, 69, of Loogootee, passed away at 3:20 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 Loogootee Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born January 3, 1949 in Washington, Indiana to the late Roy and Bertha (Collins) Wininger.
Vonda was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, Shoals American Legion and the Shoals Eagles.
She was a hairdresser for 50 plus years at various salons in Indiana and Florida. She loved watching NASCAR and cooking. Her favorite pastime was making floral arrangements and wreaths. She was the past owner of the Decorating Den.
Vonda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Bertha (Collins) Wininger; brothers, Kenneth and Norman Wininger.
She is survived by her brother, Wilson (Louise) Wininger of Shoals and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church in Loogootee.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home.
