This past weekend was 20th Century Chevy Car Fest weekend in Washington.

Nearly 400 classic and custom built automobiles cruised the city streets on Saturday.  And on Sunday, over 500 entries were on display at the annual CarFest at Washington’s East Side Park.   As usual, thousands of spectators lined Washington’s streets to watch the Cruise-In Saturday afternoon, and thousands more walked through the cars and talked with the owners at the park on Sunday.   CarFest co-chair Dan Dinkens said this year’s weekend was dedicated to the memory of the late Jim Dolkey.

Dinkens’s co-chairs were Charlie Fleck and David Bedell.   Fleck said there was one change for this year’s Cruise-In

The  Memories 107.9 Best cruiser was a 1950 Lincoln, owned by Todd Lincoln out of Monroe City.     The winner of 20th Century Chevy’s 2005 corvette was Don Luce of Bloomfield.
