A special event on Saturday will benefit Lena Dunn Elementary in Washington. It’s a Drive One for Your Community event put on by a local auto dealership. Casey Frette has some details…
Monies raised will go to adding to Lena Dunn’s Outdoor Learning Area. The area currently has a weaving board, chalk boards a sand and water table. With the money raised on Saturday the plan is to add a hillside slide and other amenities to help develop fine motor skills in students. Also they would like to construct an outdoor stage and outdoor musical instruments.
Again take a test drive Saturday at Bill Dobson Ford and $20 per drive will be given to Lena Dunn. Individual Monetary donations to Lena Dunn are always accepted.
