Indianapolis police investigating Monday violence

(NETWORK INDIANA)  There were three murders on Monday night in Indianapolis.

On the east side, Police say one person was shot and killed on Kristen Circle near E. 38th Street and German Church Road just before 8 pm.

A second person was killed on LaSalle Street at about 9:45 pm, which is right by E. Michigan Street.

On the west side of the state’s capital… police discovered the body of a man behind a shopping center in a wooded area near West Washington Street and Lynhurst Drive after 10 pm.

Officers say the man had “undisclosed trauma.”

IMPD says there have been 98 murders in Indianapolis in 2018.
