Lamey retiring from Colts radio

After more than three decades on the air, Indianapolis Colts radio announcer Bob Lamey is retiring from his role as play – by – play announcer.

    Colts owner and CEO Jim Irsay called Lamey a legend and icon.  Lamey says he owes the world to the Irsay family adding he will always bleed blue.

     Lamey worked 31 seasons as the club’s radio play-by-play voice.

      Matt Taylor, Colts radio host and preseason sideline reporter, will handle play-by-play duties in the interim
