Margaret ‘Kay’ Fowler

                                                                                    Margaret “Kay” Fowler, age 77, of Washington went on to her heavenly home at 7:08-pm on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.

She was born on September 21, 1940 in Washington to Roy and Alma (Williams) Templin. She graduated from Washington Catholic High School in 1958 and was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. She co-owned and operated the Queen Drive In, Pizza Haven and the Brass Lantern. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and enjoyed  going to Florida and walking on the beach looking for shark’s teeth.

She is survived by one daughter, Edith K. Kluemper of Mayfield, Kentucky; two sons, Jimmy G. Fowler  of Washington and Patrick A. (Judy) Fowler of Washington; grandchildren, Tony Kluemper, Justin Fowler, Derek Fowler, Nathaniel Fowler, Lance Kluemper, Chantel Excell, Katlyn Williams, Joshua Fowler, Danyelle Fowler,  Dalton Fowler, Jantson Fowler, Bailey Fowler, Ashley Acra, Shawn Fowler Shalee Fowler; great grandchildren, Maggie Kluemper, Gracie Kluemper, Lily Kluemper, Jake Kluemper, Peyton Kluemper, Sawyer Williams, Brayden Heller, Mason Heller, Daxx Fowler, Aslan Excell, Lyric Fowler, Cameron Fowler, Cora Heller, Selah Fowler, and Linnea Excell; brother, Jim (Carol) Templin of Washington; and one sister, Phyllis Butler of Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James G. Fowler Sr. on December 19, 2016, whom she had married on September 6, 1959; son, Marston Roy Fowler; grandson, Patrick A. Fowler; and brother, George Templin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Paul Ferguson as celebrant. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Monday at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel 620 East Viola Avenue Washington, Indiana 47501
