The Martin County Prosecutor may seek federal cooperation in a case of child pornography in Loogootee.
Friday, Loogootee Police report they were contacted about a man allegedly viewing child porn inside the Wendy’s Restaurant in Loogootee. After making contact with 71-year-old Timothy L. Guy of Mount Calvary Road, Guy gave permission to police to search his computer. They say they found illegal images of children from 5 to 6 years old up to 13 or 14.
Martin County Prosecutor Mike Steiner was contacted, and a search warrant was obtained and served Saturday morning at Guy’s Loogootee home. Police say they found multiple media storage devices, cameras, tablets and an external hard drive.
71-year-old Timothy L. Guy was booked into the Martin County Security Center for Level 5 Felony Possession of Child Pornography.
