-A Martin County man is facing possession charges after his overnight arrest in Daviess County. Sheriff’s Deputies charged 35-year-old Ryan Fields of Loogootee with Possession of Meth, Marijuana, and a Syringe. He’s also charged with Resisting Law Enforcement and Driving While Suspended.
-Also jailed overnight was 43-year-old Bobby Ward of Paris, Tennessee. He’s charged with Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a Handgun by a Felon and Handgun Possession without a License.
-A Murray, Kentucky man was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated with a Controlled Substance and with Endangerment overnight. 33-year-old Bruce Carter’s bond was set at $2000.
-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department conducted an investigation Wednesday that resulted in the arrest of 46-year-old Daniel Butler of Washington. He’s charged with Possession of Meth, a Syringe and Paraphernalia. No bond was set.
-A Washington man was jailed on a warrant for Disorderly Conduct Thursday. 23-year-old Lamoutte Sanchez was booked into the security center on a $2000 bond.
-Loogootee Police report they arrested 42-year-old Charles W. Needs III for Driving While Suspended. That arrest occurred early today.
-There was a tree fire reported at 3:25 Thursday morning in the yard at a residence on Bedford Road. There were no injuries. Authorities were on scene for about 40 minutes.
-A dump truck turned over into a cornfield at Daviess County Road 200-north East of 350-East. That happened at noon yesterday. A passenger in the truck went to the hospital by private vehicle. Authorities were on scene for about 90 minutes.
-A vehicle on Troy Road was reported broken into sometime between 10 and 2 this morning. Several items were taken from the Jeep. Authorities are investigating.
