Robert “Brian” Snider, 60, of Decker, passed away at 10:20 am Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.
He was born September 26, 1957 in Vincennes to Robert B. and Donna Sue (Vieke) Snider.
Brian had worked for 38 years for Riley Equipment and was a member of the Decker United Methodist Church. He enjoyed racing motorcycles, fishing, and watching NASCAR and the Atlanta Braves. Surviving are his wife, Kay (Frederick) Snider, whom he married on May 25, 1985; his father, Robert B Snider and Diane Snider; his children, Jill (Jared) Engler of Princeton, Melanie (Jason) Evans of Evansville, Jason (Julie) Grimme of Washington, and Rich (Christina) Cary of Greenwood; a sister, Karen (Tim) Magruder and their sons, Brent and Josh of Vincennes; two brothers, Scott (Enid) Kindley of Vincennes, and Brian (Karin) Kindley of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Kaleb and Kendal Engler, Noah and Aubrey Evans, Morgan Grimme, Wyatt and Fisher Owens, and Tyler, Ben, and Emily Cary; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother. Donna Sue Snider.
A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be Sunday at 6:00 pm, August 5, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00pm until the service. Burial will be held at a later date.
