Body found in the Wabash

An autopsy is set for today in Terre Haute on the body of a man found in Sullivan County about 9 last night.

        Sullivan County Sheriff Clark Cottom told reporters the body was found in the Wabash River about 2.5 miles south of State Road 154.  He said it looked like the man had been there for less than 2 days and he was fully clothed. 

        Indiana State Police, the DNR and Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department are all investigating.
