NASCO expansion plans call for a warehouse and office space

 More good economic news was came out of Washington’s City Council Meeting Monday night, when representatives from NASCO discussed plans for a major expansion at the industry’s N.E. 21st street location.  NASCO officials told the Council tge company’s business has outgrown their facility and they plan to add a 24,000 warehouse and convert the old boiler area into corporate offices.  The local company produces protective ware for first responders and industries.  After the Council meeting Mayor Wellman commented on tge planned expansion.
        Representing NASCO, David Wildridge, John Richardson, and Jordan Sherman said the company’s plans are to add 12 jobs at the facility.   The company is asking for a ten year graduated tax abatement on the expansion.
