Weekend arrests, accidents and incidents

-Saturday, Sheriff’s Deputies charged 42-year-old Myra Winkle of Elnora with three counts of Operating While Intoxicated including with Endangerment, and with a Controlled Substance.  Bond was set at $2000.

-Sunday, Indiana State Police arrested 21-year-old Michelle D. Holland in Daviess County for two counts of Operating While Intoxicated including with Endangerment.  Bond was set at $2500.

-Odon Police arrested 39-yeawr-old John A. Kaiser of Odon with Operating While Intoxicated and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $2000. The arrest took place on Sunday.

-Washington Police conducted an investigation just before 1-am on Sunday and charged 38-year-old William P. Grown with Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon.  The incident occurred when a 9mm was fired on Sunrise Drive.

-Jimmy D. Eaton of Vincennes was arrested on a warrant for Failure to Appear on Sunday. Bond was set at $2000.

-23-year-old Jayden L. Graber of Loogootee was jailed for Operating While Intoxicated and Operating While Intoxicated with Endangerment on Sunday. The arrest was made by State Police. Bond was set at $2000.

 

-More incidents of vehicle vandalism were reported over the weekend.  Washington Police received reports of parked vehicles having their windows busted out from residents on Northeast 3rd, William Street, George Street, Sunset Avenue, Ogden Street, Mill Street, West Walnut, and Bernard Avenue.  On Bernard, a tire was also reported slashed.  All of the incidents were reported on Sunday and believed to have happened late Saturday or early Sunday morning.  Police are investigating.

-A motorist drove off of the road and into ditch near Jersey and Viola.  The accident was reported at 1-pm Sunday. There were no injuries.

-There was a hit and run accident reported on Northeast 9th at 11:20 Saturday night.  A motorist reported another vehicle backed into them and then left the scene.

-Authorities investigated an accident Sunday morning on 250-north between 200 and 300-West.
