Betty G. Frederick, 86, of Vincennes, IN, passed away 2:20 AM, at the Lodge of the Wabash.
Betty was a homemaker, and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She had been a Cub Scout leader,and helped with Girl Scouts. Betty loved flowers and animals.
Born December 15, 1931, in Vincennes, IN, she was the daughter of Luther and Gladys (Hollingsworth) Opell. Her parents; her first husband, Nofel Harper, Sr.; her second husband, Paulee Frederick; her brothers, Forrest, Paul, and Nelson Opell; and a grandchild preceded her.
Surviving are her children, Connie Small of Vincennes, IN, Nofel Harper, Jr. of Vincennes, IN, Paula Miller of Greenwood, IN, and David Frederick of Monroe City, IN; her brother, Harlan Opell of Fairfield, IL; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with Betty’s family from 1:00 to 3:00 on Monday at Goodwin Funeral Home. The service to celebrate Betty’s life will begin at 3:00.
