James W. Tromley, 75, of Vincennes passed away at 6:30 pm Monday June 4, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born October 5, 1942 in Vincennes, to Christopher Julian and Anne (Hunter) Tromley.
Jim was a self-employed carpenter and a member of the Moose Club. Some of his favorite pastimes were darts, playing golf, horseshoes, and playing softball.
Surviving are his children, JoEllen (Todd) Shearer of Charleston, South Carolina, Fred Tromley of Vincennes, Cindy (Jerry) Ruble of Vincennes, and Jamie (Tony) Nibbs of Indianapolis; his brothers and sisters, Chris (Linda) Tromley of Champaign, Il, Ray (Anita) Tromley of Vincennes, Helen (Morris) Thomas of Vincennes, Carolyn (Dave) Schultz of Indianapolis, and Joe Tromley of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Katie Shearer, Todd Shearer, Morgan Tromley, Tristen Tromley, and Parker Tromley, Alissa Ruble and Kendall Ruble, Tyresse Nibbs, and Trevor Nibbs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers and sisters, Paul Tromley, John Tromley, George Tromley, Margaret Klueh, and Norma Hunckler.
Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are in care of the Goodwin Funeral Home.
