The students in his Noblesville West Middle School classroom Friday morning will not forget what Mr. Seaman did–he may have saved their lives by tackling the student who walked into the room and started shooting. A female student was wounded–by Friday evening, she was in critical condition at Riley Children’s Hospital. Teacher and seventh grade football coach Jason Seaman is in good condition at Methodist Hospital. He was shot three times according to a Facebook post by his mother–who also said he was doing well after surgery.

State Police Superintendent Doug Carter gave praise to the students in the classroom for knowing what to do…

The name of the injured girl and the suspect have not been released.
