Terry Riggins, 63, of Cannelburg, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at his home.
He was born April 7, 1955 in Washington, Indiana to the late John Riggins and Roberta (Ressler) Wildman.
Terry attended North Daviess High School through his junior year. His mother married Melvin Wildman and they moved to Loogootee. Terry graduated from Loogootee High School in 1973.
He started driving a truck when he was 19 years old. He drove for Hillcrest Supply, Traylor Trucking and then Air Liquide. He achieved the Million Safe Miles Award with Air Liquide.
Terry enjoyed riding his Harley and watching NASCAR. He loved anything to do with farming and enjoyed his four-legged companion, Candy.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Riggins; mother and step-father, Roberta and Melvin Wildman; step-daughter, Melanie Gingerich; step-brother, Roger Wildman; step-sister, Janet (Donnie) Jackson; special cousin, Jo Ann Sterkel.
Terry is survived by his wife of 29 years, Linda Riggins of Cannelburg; step-daughter, Stephanie (Troy) Ainscough of Cannelburg; step-son, Garrett (Chrissy) Gingerich of Montgomery; step-grandchildren, Austin and Addison Ainscough, Kinley Schrock and Hudson Gingerich; step-sister-in-law, Patty Wildman of Loogootee; special cousins, Shelba (Tom) Noble and Connie Vowels, both of Odon.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Montgomery Christian Church.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
