Students simulate Stimulus work

A very high tech  project was was presented Friday in Loogootee  involving high school students.   A workplace simulation project allowed students to simulate work done at defense contractor Stimulus Engineering. They contract with CRANE.    The kids worked on a project called Protect, Analyze, Deter..

 

 

        That’s Adam Scribner..the Director of Stem Education (science, technology, engineering, math)   Initiative at IU.  The event was not open to the public, however, Loogootee Mayor Noel Harty was there and he talked to us about what these type of STEM oriented showcases mean to the area.  He quoted a comment from a former Loogootee School Superintendent…

        The event took place at the Loogootee Lions Den at Loogootee High School.
