Meth arrest Monday, OVWI arrest just after midnight

-A Washington woman was booked into the Daviess County Security Center on Monday for Criminal Conversion, Possession of Meth and Paraphernalia.  Bond was posted for 36-year-old Britney Boyd.  She was arrested after police responded to a shoplifting report at Wal-mart  During their investigation, they made contact with Boyd and she was apprehended on the charges.

-A Knox County resident is facing several charges after an overnight arrest by the Daviess County Sherriff’s Department.  19-year-old Sky Coe of Bicknell is charged with two counts of Operating While Intoxicated including with Endangerment, with Minor Consumption of Alcohol and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident. No bond was set. It’s believed Coe was arrested after an accident just after midnight on East State Road 358 at the Carnahan Bridge at Plainville. A vehicle hit a pole in the incident.

-Authorities worked an accident at just before 7 yesterday morning on State Road 257.   A jeep struck a pole snapping it in half.

-A vehicle/deer accident was reported at 5:49-am Monday morning on State Road 257.

-Minor accidents were reported yesterday at the Cherry Tree Plaza parking lot, on West Van Trees and South Meridian.

-There was a breaking and entering and theft report at a garage on North Street.  The resident said a door to the garage was kicked in and several items were stolen.

-A breaking and entering was investigated on Sunrise Drive.

-A resident on Sugarland Road reported a boat and motor stolen from their property.

-A truck with a camper attached was reported on fire on I69 at the 80 mile marker at 12:17-pm yesterday.  Elnora and Madison Fire Departments responded.
