Two overnight arrests in Washington

-Overnight, Washington Police arrested a motorist for Operating While Intoxicated.  45-year-old Richard Kramer was booked into the Daviess County Security Center without bond.

-An Evansville resident was jailed on an Out of County warrant early this morning.  36-year-old Bobby Baughn was taken to the security center after being picked up by Washington Police.  Police were called to an Apartment on Meridian Street to a report of a man banging on a door.  The culprit was allegedly Baughn and when police arrived, they found he was wanted on the warrant and he was taken into custody.

 -A trucker driver delivering to Bender Lumber just before 10 yesterday morning struck some low hanging phone and cable lines.  

-No injuries when two vehicles collided at US 50 and 257 at just before 8 yesterday morning. Authorities were on scene for less than an hour.
