Officers investigate domestic violence calls

Two separate investigations led to two domestic battery arrests in Washington on Tuesday.

Brett Carpenter, 37 of Washington was arrested by Washington Police in the late afternoon.  He was jailed without bond for Domestic Battery, Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury, Neglect of a Dependent, Animal Abuse and Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon. Carpenter was jailed after a 4:52-pm call about a domestic situation at a West Walnut Street home. 

Andrew Grow, 21 of Washington was jailed for Domestic Battery after were called to the hospital ER.  Police were told a person had been injured in an alleged domestic situation.  Upon investigation, Grow was found and arrested.  That was reported at 8:15 Tuesday morning.
