Not much information has been released; however, state police do say two people were shot in Oaktown last night.
The incident occurred at 3386 East Cardinal Road. A family member had requested a welfare check on the occupants of the home and police arrived on scene at 7:50-pm they found 56-year-old Sharon M. Patton deceased inside and 63-year-old Roger S. Darrough with serious injuries. Both lived together at the residence. Darrough was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital and later airlifted to Deaconess in Evansville.
The investigation is continuing.
