Man jailed for battery, house fire in Plainville

-25-year-old Beau Russell of Loogootee was jailed with Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon, Domestic Battery and Criminal Trespassing. The arrest was made Sunday by Indiana State Police.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department charged 20-year-old Seth Graber of Loogootee with Operating While Intoxicated with Greater than .15%, also with Operating While Intoxicated with Endangerment and Minor Consuming.

-34-year-old Andrew W. Brown of Washington was jailed for Possession of Paraphernalia Sunday.  No bond was set.

-45-year-old Robert A. Morning of Washington was jailed on Sunday for a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence.  Bond was set at $10,000.

-Minor accident reported at 3:20 Sunday on Main Street in Washington.

-The Washington Police Department investigated a reported Breaking and Entering at 3:25 on Sunday afternoon. Officers arrived at the West Walnut address and spoke with the owner of the home who said someone had gone through the shed and the house.  They reported they’d just moved some belongings into the residence the day before.  Missing was a 56” TV and a Sony Surround Sound System.

-A resident on McCormick Avenue reported a window broken on their home. The report was made last evening.

-Several fire departments responded to a house fire on 5th Street in Plainville. The call came in at 4:13 Sunday afternoon.  The home was fully engulfed at the time firefighters arrived. Plainville, Elnora and Madison .  Units were on scene for over 3 hours.  Everyone got out of the house and no injuries were reported.

-There was a report of a vehicle flipped over at 650-East and 500-North at Odon at just after 1 on Saturday morning. Reports show one person was transported to the hospital in Vincennes.
