Battery arrest in Elnora, minor crashes reported in Washington

-22-year-old Samantha J. Hooten of Bloomington was jailed in Washington yesterday on a Failure to Appear Warrant. Bond was set at $2000.

-58-year-old Richard L. Willoughby of Elnora was jailed for Domestic Battery.  No bond was set.  He was taken into custody after an incident which was investigated in the 9-pm hour last night.

-The Sheriff’s Department investigated a breaking and entering on Main in Elnora.  It was reported at 11:34 last night.

 

-Officials at CVS in Washington reported a shoplifter at 1:41 pm.  A man was said to have taken a phone charger and left on foot.

-A motorist in Odon said he was run off the road by another vehicle.  The caller’s car had to be pulled back onto the road by a wrecker.

-Authorities were called at 7:45 last evening to Ohio Street where a motorist had hit a tree. There were no injuries. 

This morning there was a minor accident at Maysville Road and Old 50.
