Daviess County Chief Deputy Gary Allison has announced that the 39th annual Sheriff’s Youth Leadership Camp is in June and July.
The camp is a program provided by the Indiana Sheriff’s Association for kids in the 78th or 8th grade interested in learning more about a possible career in law enforcement. Anyone interested can contact the sheriff’s office or a school counselor.
Allison says the first session is June 26-29th at Pine Creek Camp in Pine Village, Indiana located in Warrick County. A second session is July9-11 at the Waycross Episcopal Camp in Morgantown which is in Brown County.
