Joseph H. Baxter, 69, passed away at 7:20 pm on March 19, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Joe was born on July 24, 1948 in Sea Side, New Jersey the son of Joseph and Lilian Baxter. He married Debra Williams on August 12, 2010.
Joe was an iron worker working in the union for several years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and crabbing. He also liked dogs and all animals.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Baxter of Vincennes; daughters, Kristin Baxter of New Jersey, Jillian Smith of Gilbertsville, AZ; sons, Brian Baxter and wife Wendy of Westfield, NJ, Joseph C. Baxter of Vincennes, Dion Smith of Maple Shade, NJ; grandchildren, Carleen Baxter, Joshua Baxter, Lindsey Baxter, William Daggett, Everett Daggett; sister, Mary Jo Oliveira and Manny of Florida, and twin-sister Sandy Kessleer of Arizona. Joe was preceded in death by his parents.
